ITINERARY
Get ready to explore the Sillustani Archaeological Complex, home to the ancient funerary towers that make up one of the most impressive necropolises in the Peruvian highlands. Discover history, mysticism, and breathtaking views in one unforgettable experience.
About 1:45 p.m., our team will pick you up from your hotel in downtown Puno to begin your journey to the Sillustani archaeological site. Upon arrival, enjoy a short hike to the necropolis, where you’ll feel the spiritual energy of this sacred place while admiring the chullpas of Sillustani, impressive stone mausoleums built by the Kolla and Inca cultures.
After exploring the site, we’ll visit a traditional farmhouse to experience the authentic Andean lifestyle. Learn about local customs, see houses built from stone, mud, and straw, and meet the majestic Andean camelids, llamas and alpacas, perfect for taking beautiful photos with Lake Umayo in the background.
Finally, we’ll return to Puno, arriving around 6:00 p.m., where our team will take you back to your hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable half-day tour to Sillustani.
